I'm a dancing machine!

Anyone that know me, knows I love to dance. I love to dance especially to reggae music. I wish my mom would've put me in dance classes when I was younger. I don't know why she didn't, but maybe its because she didn't have the extra money.

Either way, my other passion (besides working with kids) is dancing. This was my first youtube video of me doing what I do best - dancing. Hope you all enjoy it as much as I did.

Peace and God bless!

When's the last time I read a good romance book?!

I absolutely love to read. Mostly, I read for my own personal enjoyment, but sometimes you can catch me reading a textbook or two, especially if its on a topic I like.

Anyway, I just started a new book that my hubby got me when we first got married. It's indubitably titled Just Married. It's not written by one author, but more so, by a collection of authors (all of whom I never heard of before). Here's a pic of the book.

Right now, I'm as far as the first chapter. I didn't think it would of kept my attention as it has, but so far, I'm impressed! I got as far as chapter eight until I took a break to quickly type this blog up just to let you all know of this good book.

As you can see the first chapter is cleverly titled the Hired Husband. The woman, or the bride in the story, has indeed hired a man to marry her for the sake of her grandmother. They start off with bitter feelings for one another. But lo and behold, those feelings go to the wayside as they learn more and more about each other.

I can't wait to pick this book up again and finish the story. Don't worry, I won't spoil you all with any more details. If you wish, you can buy your own copy and enjoy this book with me. Bye for now! :)

What is the gift for my life?

I never in my wildest dreams saw myself as a teacher. I've had GREAT teachers that actually taught me something. And I've had bad teachers where students knew more than the teacher ever taught. I never imagined that I would be in their shoes teaching little kids.

I believe with all my heart that I was meant to be a daycare owner. This "job" is the only job I've had that brings me the most joy.

Although I was never a morning person, to wake up and know you have 6 little ones coming to your house to learn something new and become curious little learners, is an amazing feeling to me. I feel great when I see kids. A big smile appears on my face and I feel genuinely good.

It can also be a rather daunting task for someone that don't feel like teaching comes natural to her. I'm stuck in the crossroads of life. I know anything worth having, there will be a struggle behind it. I know I still love kids, but I'm unsure if I want to continue being a "teacher" to such young and impressionable minds.

So, I'd like to hear from my audience: what do you all think I should do? Should I stick to my guns and continue doing what I love? Or should I be one of those people that go from job to job?

Oh p.s. by the way, I forgot to mention that I would sorta have to reinvent myself anyway because my hubby is serving in the military and we move around a lot.

Well thanks for hearing me out. I'd love to hear what you all think. Advice/criticism is encouraged.

If I Could Change One Thing

If I could change one thing about myself it would be to change the fact that I procrastinate a lot. I guess I procrastinate because I'm a perfectionist. I like every thing to be in a perfect order or the order I want it in. Sometimes I don't even have a clue how I want something to be done, that's why I procrastinate and prolong it until my hubby does it. Then when he goes to "organize" my stuff, I get angry with him, even though I know he's only trying to help me.

Lord, why am I such a perfectionist. I don't want to be perfect. Perfect is boring. Besides, God is the only one that is perfect, so why did you make me this way. I want to be changed. Change is good.

Book Review - Dying for Revenge

Well, I was gonna write a review on the book; until I realized why it was hard for me to read. It's a trilogy. Why did I read this book first - I have no clue. But now I have to read the first two books to help me understand the third one. Until then, I will return to this review.
